I can't seem to shake the extra 7-10 pounds that crept up on me over the past year. I keep losing and gaining the same effing three pounds, which is as annoying as it is frustrating.
My wardrobe is becoming limited as not everything fits like it should, but I don't want to concede defeat and buy a bunch of new things in a bigger size.
***Sigh***
This seems to be a theme with some of the other bloggers I follow. Start a blog, journal to good health, enjoy goal for a while, slowly watch the scale creep up and then stop blogging.
Hmmm. Wonder if there's a connection? My boot camp coach keeps cajoling me to blog again.
So here it is, Coach!
But Dillypoo is still an optimist. Things to not be frustrated about:
- I'm the fittest I've ever been in my life.
- I'm nowhere near the weight I was four years ago.
- I'm still running and doing boot camp.
The Cowtown Marathon is less than two weeks away and I registered to run two races again. I've also found five more races to run between now and the end of May, which will put me at seven for the first half of this year (if you include the two Cowtown runs).
I'm shooting for 13 timed runs in 2013, kind of like my 12 in 2012 pledge last year. Except I only ran 11 in 2012. I missed two races at the end of the year because of snow and illness.
Add that to my list of frustrations.
I've also decided, I think, to train for a tri-athalon. Training begins the day after the Cowtown for an event on April 28.
I can swim 300 meters, run 3 miles and bike 12 miles, right? Right?
If that extra activity doesn't kick the scale's butt, then I don't know what to do!
Not sure when I'll be back again, but I haven't completely abandoned DillypooChatter. I'm just neglecting it.
